Service 01 — Website Design

Websites that help people take the next step.

Most legal websites describe the firm. The ones that work describe the visitor's situation, show that the firm handles it, and make the next step obvious on a phone, in under a minute.

The problem

A site can look finished and still lose the inquiry.

Visitors arrive mid-problem. They are scanning for one thing: does this firm handle what is happening to me, and can I reach someone. Long firm histories, dense practice lists, and buried contact details all cost inquiries.

Slow mobile pages compound it. So does a contact form that asks for more than a first conversation needs, or a phone number that is not tappable.

We design for that reader — the one deciding between your firm and two others in the same afternoon.

What the work includes

Positioning and messaging

What the firm does, who it is for, and how that is said on the pages people actually land on.

Practice-area pages

A real page per practice area, written for the situation a client is in rather than the statute.

Contact paths

Tappable phone, short forms, clear hours, and an honest description of what happens after someone submits.

Mobile performance

Fast loading, comfortable type, and layouts that hold up on the devices most of your visitors use.

Accessibility and readability

Strong contrast, sensible heading structure, and copy that reads at a comfortable pace.

Handover

You own the site and the accounts. We document how to edit pages and who to call if something breaks.

How it runs

A sequence you can follow.

  1. Step 1

    Review what exists

Platform, structure, speed, and how current pages perform. We say plainly whether to improve the site or rebuild it.

  2. Step 2

    Structure and message

Page map, page-by-page intent, and the copy direction for each practice area, agreed before design starts.

  3. Step 3

    Design and build

Layouts, components, and pages built to the agreed structure, reviewed with you at draft and pre-launch.

  4. Step 4

    Launch and tune

Redirects, tracking, and a check on real visitor behaviour in the first weeks, with adjustments where pages underperform.

What we need from your firm

  • Access to the current site, domain, and hosting, or the ability to grant it
  • A short conversation per practice area with whoever knows the work best
  • Approval on positioning and page copy
  • Any brand assets, photography, or licensing constraints we should respect
  • A named person who can answer questions during the build

How we measure it

  • Inquiries started and completed, by page
  • Mobile load speed and core page performance
  • Where visitors leave a page without acting
  • Share of inquiries that arrive from practice-area pages
  • Response time once an inquiry reaches the firm

These figures depend on tracking being installed correctly and on your team telling us which inquiries were useful. We report what the data shows, including when it shows the work is not yet paying off.
